We are delighted to share that VICTA’s Parent Services have been announced as winners in the LUXlife Parent & Baby Awards 2024. Winners in the category ‘Most Enriching Child-Young Adult Social Support Non Profit Organisation 2024 – UK’, it is a wonderful recognition of the supportive community we have built together.
We’d like to thank the families, contributors and funders who make the VICTA Parent Portal and VICTA Parent Network what it is. Our services have expanded over the last couple of years, growing to further support babies and toddles who have a vision impairment with our Early Years Sensory Discovery Packs. These packs go hand-in-hand with the Early Years section of the Parent Portal, which is full of informative resources, play ideas, and tips on how to support your child and yourself.
Our Early Years Sensory Discovery Packs packs have been carefully curated using input from parents and professionals to provide a sensory play starting point for parents of a vision impaired child.
VICTA’s sleep service launched to support to parents of blind or partially sighted children who are finding their sleep patterns impacted by their sight loss and our online workshops have continues to grow, bringing parents together and sharing knowledge to feel more confident in supporting their child’s journey. And, it’s been heart-warming to see parents supporting each other through our now 1,100 member strong Parent Network!
